Anche libero va bene (English: Along the Ridge) is a 2006 Italian movie directed by Kim Rossi Stuart, who also wrote the screenplay in collaboration with Linda Ferri and Francesco Giammusso.

Alessandro Morace, who played the problematic boy around which the plot revolves, received a Best Actor award at the 2006 Flaiano Film Festival for the role of Tommaso (Tommi) Benetti in 2006.

Synopsis

Tommi aged 11 and his slightly older sister Viola live in the city with their father. They cope with being a single parent family until their mother shows up, having disappeared without trace for many times. The film shows their ongoing struggle with love, friendship, puberty and life in general.
